Breast Cancer is the most common type of cancer in the UK  with 15 out of 100 (15%) of all newly diagnosed cancers in the UK being  breast cancer (CRUK)

The overall aim of the breast SSG is to provide specialist advice and guidance to the Peninsula Cancer Alliance on the standards of service for patients with breast cancer to ensure equitable and high quality care across the region.
