Our Targeted Lung Health Checks Van Has Moved to Bodmin!

Our Van has moved and we are now scanning patients in Bodmin, Cornwall. We are asking for everyone between the ages of 55 and 75 to keep an eye out for their letter inviting them to attend a Lung Health.

So far our programme in Cornwall has:

Sent out 16,564 letters inviting patients
Completed 6,177 Telephone Triages
Completed 2,639 Low dose CT Scans

Out of these we have found 21 Cancers, most of which are at an early stage.

We have also worked with Bath Spa University to produce a video showing what the people of Liskeard thought of the Targeted Lung Health Checks and how the process works for those invited to a scan.
